CytoNiche Biotechnology successfully concluded its participation at the 29th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT), held from 11–15 May 2026 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

ASGCT 2026 once again highlighted the industry's continued focus on translating scientific breakthroughs into commercially viable therapies. As cell and gene therapies progress towards larger patient populations, manufacturing scalability, process robustness, and regulatory readiness have become central to discussions across the sector.

Throughout the exhibition, CytoNiche showcased its 3D FloTrix™ Intelligent Cell Manufacturing Platform, demonstrating how closed-system automation and degradable microcarrier technology can help address these emerging manufacturing challenges. Meaningful exchanges with researchers, therapy developers, CDMOs, and biopharmaceutical partners reinforced a shared industry priority: establishing manufacturing processes that are not only scalable and cost--effective, but also reproducible and ready for clinical and commercial production.

The conversations at ASGCT reflected a growing recognition that manufacturing is no longer simply a downstream consideration—it is a strategic enabler of successful cell therapy development. By enabling high-density 3D cell expansion within an integrated manufacturing workflow, the 3D FloTrix™ platform supports improved process consistency, reduced operational complexity, and greater manufacturing efficiency, helping developers bridge the gap between research, clinical translation, and commercialisation.

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas with the global cell and gene therapy community. The insights gained during ASGCT 2026 will continue to inspire our innovation as we advance intelligent manufacturing technologies that support the next generation of cell therapies.
