CytoNiche participated in the Asian Cellular Therapy Organization (ACTO) Annual Meeting 2026, held from August 27–29 at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing its latest cell culture and bioprocessing technologies to one of the region’s key gatherings for the cellular therapy community.

As cellular therapies continue to progress from research and clinical development towards broader manufacturing and commercialisation, the ability to establish scalable, reproducible, and efficient manufacturing processes is becoming increasingly important. Against this backdrop, ACTO 2026 provided an opportunity to examine how process technologies can address the practical requirements of cell therapy manufacturing.

At Booth 23, CytoNiche presented its 3D FloTrix™ platform, including technologies designed to support key stages of cell manufacturing. Particular attention was given to the role of 3D cell culture and dissolvable microcarrier technologies in enabling efficient cell expansion, while maintaining process flexibility as production scales.

The event also provided an opportunity for CytoNiche to exchange perspectives with professionals working across different areas of cellular therapy. Discussions extended beyond individual products to broader manufacturing considerations, including process scalability, closed processing, automation, downstream handling, and the transition from laboratory-scale workflows to more robust production processes.

Participation in ACTO 2026 further strengthened CytoNiche’s engagement with the rapidly developing cellular therapy ecosystem in Asia. The insights gained from these exchanges will continue to inform the company’s efforts to develop and deliver technologies aligned with the evolving requirements of cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

CytoNiche extends its appreciation to the ACTO organising committee and to the professionals who visited Booth 23 and contributed to the discussions throughout the meeting.
