Conforming to the principle of "keeping balance between pandemic prevention and social economic development", CytoNiche aims to secure sustainable development and steady improvement while fighting against the pandemic.

During the pandemic, when most colleagues followed the call of the government and worked from home, the lab staff still remained at their posts and worked in a closed loop according to the pandemic prevention requirements, with the only aim of satisfying both quality and quantity requirements and honoring their commitments to customers. It has become a daily routine for them to take the company as their home, using simple sleeping bags for beds and shared washbasins for freshening up. In order to keep employees’ life and work in a healthy and orderly manner, the company has also prepared sufficient supplies of all kinds. After a hard day's work, lab staff enjoyed the sweet bitterness by snatching a little leisure from busy life, powering through tough times with the most positive attitudes.

CytoNiche is still developing rapidly under the pandemic with more and more colleagues joining the company. New employee training, as an important way to help new hires to quickly understand and integrate into the company, cannot proceed as planned due to the impact of the pandemic. However, the HR team of Integrated Management Center has always adhered to the belief that “New employee training shall not be delayed even under the pandemic”. Instead of delaying the training due to the unexpected staying at home policy, the team adjusted all training programs as quickly as possible and made new designs and arrangements for cross-space interactions, ensuring the effectiveness and quality of online training.

Gao Meng, co-founder of CytoNiche and leader of the Integrated Management Center, took advantage of the limited time slot set by the park to come to the office and utilized remote platform to carry out live streaming of company introduction. As a result, new employees attending the training were able to understand the development history, and core business and products of CytoNiche, as if they were personally on the scene. The training was well arranged with rich agenda and every colleague was seriously involved. The training has also been unanimously recognized. The HR team was greatly gratified by the huge gains of all.

They planned and held an online activity with the theme of “Remembering Childhood & Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival”. The games were designed with great fun that everyone rushed to participate and the joy could be felt through the screen. Through this online activity, not only did colleagues have a better understanding of each other, but their frustration of staying at home due to the pandemic was also cleared up. 【Keep the Faith for Official Resumption of Work】

The pandemic in Beijing was gradually brought under control after the Dragon Boat Festival. Beijing CytoNiche Biotechnology Co., Ltd. strictly complied with the requirements of pandemic prevention and control, and officially returned to work. At the same time, CytoNiche also welcomed many new colleagues.

With the coordination of the General Management Center, experts from the Technology R&D Center were invited to lead all to visit CytoNiche Biological Cell Laboratory. Through this visit, employees have gained a practical understanding of the cell culture process and application scenarios of CytoNiche, as well as the products independently developed by CytoNiche and related services.

In the future, the Integrated Management Center will also prepare training programs for visiting equipment R&D, cell transformation CDMO and Tianjin factory. We are filled with great expectations.
